Bus Rapid Transit (BRT): Street light with 700 KW Solar Micro Grid

The authority of Bus Rapid Transit, also known as BRT, is going to execute the first project of Bangladesh with the concept of electrification on solar streetlights, and energy to functional electrification through micro grids over the roof of bus stoppages. Besides this, the real time monitoring and controlling of each streetlight will be ensured through the technically designed system. The total generation through micro grids of the project will be 700 KW. It will be a milestone project of the locality of Dhaka and Gazipur.

The name of the project is: Design, Supply and Installation of Solar-Powered Highway Lighting along the BRT Corridor including the provision of Solar Panels at Bus Stations under Greater Dhaka Sustainable Urban Transport Project (BRT, Gazipur-Airport).

InGen technology Limited has been awarded to conduct supply, installation and commissioning of this iconic project. It is believed that, through execution of this project, Bangladesh will enter a new solution on LED streetlights project with solar powered microgrid system.

Online UPS from APC

InGen conducts supply and installation of online UPS of APC. Among remarkable projects, InGen successfully conducted project with BdREN, their total power upgradation system had been developed with APC’s online UPS for 32 Public Universities, 10 Power Grid Companies and 3 Private Universities.

It needs to be mentioned that online UPS ensures an advantage on superior power quality, instantaneous response to power outages, and the ability to protect sensitive equipment from various power disturbances

Precision Air Conditioning

InGen conducted precision air conditioning for their clients. It needs to be mentioned that Precision air conditioning offers several key advantages, particularly in environments like data centers and server rooms where maintaining precise temperature and humidity is crucial for equipment performance and reliability. These systems offer accurate temperature control within narrow tolerances, often ± 0.5 to 1 degree Celsius, and precise humidity control. They also provide improved air distribution, higher air flow rates, and the ability to handle higher heat loads per unit. Furthermore, precision AC systems are often energy-efficient and can be designed for scalability and cost savings in the long run.

Supply & Installation of LED Street Lights in Zone-8 of DSCC

InGen Technology Limited and Dhaka South City Corporation have made agreement signing for ‘Supply & Installation of LED Street Lights in Zone- 1 to 5 of Dhaka South City Corporation’. The agreement signing of this BDT ten crore budgeted project has been conducted on the 21st April 2025.

Through this project total 785 number of smart LED streetlight with different wattages will be installed in Khilgaon, Dhanmindi, Azimpur, Hazaribagh, Jigatola, Dhaka University, Dhaka medical Collage, Dhaka Sahidminar, Palashi, Chankharpul, Gulistan, Dhaka Press Club, Kathalbagan, Panthapath areas. So that, almost 50% of the area of Dhaka South City corporation area will be covered by this street light project.

LED Street Lights in Zone-1 to 5 for Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC)

Ingen is conducting the project titled ‘Supply & Installation of LED Street Lights in Zone-1 to 5 of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC). The project will ensure safety and security of the elite community residential area of Dhanmondi.

Aesthetic Lighting Project for Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC)

The project titled ‘Installation works of Electrical Poles and Facilities along with Aesthetic Lights (LED)’ is continuing by InGen Technology Limited in Shyampur Canal Area. It is believed that, the project will create more safety, security and also improve the aesthetic perspective of the project area.

AC Street Lights for Zone-1 of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC)

Among current projects InGen is conducting Supply of Goods and related Services for Supply and Installation of Street Light Poles, Brackets, Light Fixtures, Cables etc. and Other Electrical Works due to Removal of DPDC Poles. The project is located for the elite community of Dhanmondi Area underf Zone-1 of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC).

LGED Cox’s bazar: 35 Nano Grid with 300 KW Solar Power generation

InGen conducted the project to Supply, Installation and Operation & Maintenance of 35 Solar PV Nano Grids in Rohingya camps of Cox’s Bazar. The project has constructed an energy source with transmission and distribution of electricity for the Rohingya camps at Cox’s bazar district. The project created comfort for 12,000 households and ensured security through electrification.

Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock: 35 KW

The electro-mechanical project for the Ministry of fisheries ‘Compound Electrification, CCTV and Solar Panel at Rampur, Chokoria, Cox's Bazar’ will create electrification and security on the very sensitive project area.

LGED Jamalpur: HD and 9D Cineplex

InGen conducted one of the milestone project under Shekh Hasina Cultural Village Project in Doyamoyee Mor, Jamalpur Town Jamalpur. Here, InGen constructed a HD and the first 9D theater hall of Bangladesh.

Substation and Electrification Work

Under LGED’s Cultural Village project of Jamalpur, supply and installation of 2 number of 1000 KVA substations, 500KVA Generator, indoor-outdoor lighting and the total electrical works including lift, AC system and plumbing work has been conducted by InGen.

LGED Jamalpur: Water fountain

InGen is conducting ‘Supply and Installation Water fountain at Shekh Hasina Cultural Village Projecton Doyamoyee, Jamalpur Town. The project is the connecting project of first 9D theater Hall project in Bangladesh. The beautification part will be conducted with view of most modern architectural and engineering work.

Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB): Embankment Project

Recently InGen had conducted rehabilitation project of Embankment with Slope Protection Work for km. 26.520 to km 27.520 =1.00 km in Polder No. 15 under " Rehabilitation of Polder -1 at Satkhira District' in Satkhira O&M Division-1,BWDB.

The project will ensure the safety of local people from flood and storm. It will also protect local community from overflow of salty water, land slide. Overall, the project can be considered as one of the remarkable projects of coastal defense structure in Satkhira.

Grameen Phone Project

Ingen conducts regular updating of BTS tower's power supply. The project's power solution is playing role for smooth mobile phone and internet communication of local people with other parts of Bangladesh and different parts of the world as well.

Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC)

The project of ‘Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Lithium Battery on 2600 Government Institutes in remote locations of Bangladesh’ has been conducted by InGen. The project conducted technical development on upgrading network connectivity of 2600 Government institutes with latest power solution 'Lithium-Ion Batteries'. Recycling of traditional led acid-based batteries from 2600 government institutes.

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC)

Supply and Installation of Various Wattage LED Light Fittings at Ward No-55,56 & 57 in zone-3 under Dhaka South City Corporation (Additional Road)’ had been conducted by InGen. It was the first project of DSCC with following features: * Compatible with Existing Smart Energy Management System (SEMS) * Server control system. * Smart LED Street Light complete fitting with unique optics * Photometric design optimizes the light distribution * Comply with safety and road lighting standards * Luminaire Efficacy: 120-150 lm/W * LED Type: Ultra bright SMD chip *Operating Temperature & Humidity: -40º C~50º C/10%~90%RH

Upgradation of Digital Education System for Department of Telecommunication (DOT)

InGen conducted digitalization of 678 numbers of primary schools located in remote areas of Bangladesh. This is the first project of such kind to create digital labs and networking all of large number of schools. Digital labs will ensure the most advanced networking facility to deliver the most updated education environment to the schools. On the other hand, due to the project, school students, teachers and schools’ staff will be able to enjoy the benefit of electricity without any cost. And as InGen is constructing an earthing system to these schools, students and teachers at these schools will be safe from lightning in storm situations.

BREB (Nano Grid Project)

Supply, Installation and Operation & Maintenance of 25 nos. of Solar PV Nano Grid for household electricity supply and Power Back up for the CIC offices by16 no. 2.5KVA IPS within the mega-camp.

The prime purpose of the project was to ensure benefit through Constructing energy source with transmission and distribution of electricity for the Rohingya camps at Coxsbazar district. The project created comfort for 10,000 households and ensured security through electrification.

Department of Public Health Engineering (DPHE)

InGen conducted project of Installation of 586 number of 5 panel based Carocell Water Desalination sets in Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Lakshmipur, Noakhali, and Chandpur districts. The project created permanent solution to convert salty and unsafe water to pure drinking water for coastal regions of Bangladesh. This is the first technology (known as Carocell plants) that totally operates with solar energy. The water purification event also runs with solar energy.

LED Street Lights project at Rohingya Camp for Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB)

The project of ‘Supply, installation and Operation & Maintenance of 2,000 Nos. Solar PV Powered LED Street Lights’ has been conducted by InGen. The project created safety through environment friendly solution for the Rohingya community of Bangladesh.

University Grants Commission (UGC)

On the project of ‘Supply, Installation. Testing and Commissioning of Equipment and Facilities for Upgradation of BdREN Power System’ InGen worked total 45 Institute of Bangladesh, 32 Public Universities, 10 Power Grid Companies & 3 Private Universities for their Power Upgrading System. The project created safe green energy-based power solution for public universities of Bangladesh.

Electrification of households of off-grid areas with solar home systems. Installation of solar home systems and solar streetlights in off grid areas of Bangladesh. The project stablished electrification in remote off grid areas of Bangladesh. Thus, development occurred on rural business-economic, daily activity, education. The project created safe environment for rural women in this off-grid areas.

Solar Power Solution on BTS towers

Electrification by Installations of Solar Systems in Base Transceiver Stations (BTS) Towers. The project ensured electricity supply for BTS towers in remote locations of Bangladesh. Through this project, communication networks have been developed for rural people.
